Love this place every time we can come in! For the prices, you can't beat it for lunch! I highly recommend the Asian chicken either wrap or as a salad- I have recommended this to everyone who dined with me recently and they ordered it and loved it. I also love south of border if you want something for breakfast!

GREAT food, I love the boy blue burger and the cordon bleu sandwich. good breakfast too. best fries in town. they are cut in house and have the skin on. no fast food fries here!. good service and atmosphere as well.

North Ave Grill is one of my go-to spots in Wauwatosa. I've been there several times and have enjoyed everything on the menu! Pictured is the Ahi Tuna B.L.T Sandwich. The Wasabi mayo is a great addition to the sandwich. Their sides include fries, fruit, or coleslaw. The fries have great seasoning. Also highly recommend their Friday fish fry! As well as their shakes and cheesecake which they have monthly flavors for

Solid modern diner style joint whipping up classic diner fare that includes lunch and fish fry options. It's a large menu with all the typical brunch options available - pancakes, waffles, skillets, French toast, etc. You can also get a wide range of lunch options, including cheese, curds, quesadillas, chicken sandwiches, burgers, salads and wraps. I hear the burgers are good but we always get the Buffalo chicken wrap - it's big and delicious. On this visit we also ordered pancakes (wonderful) as well as the Meat Lovers breakfast skillet (solid but not amazing). All in all a decent go to spot when you're not sure what to eat but want some good if not spectacular food. It's a popular spot on the weekends so be prepared to wait 30-60 mins for a table or booth. They do have limited bar seating too.

This review is based on my breakfast carry out experience. Pulled up and place was packed so that's already a good sign. Was greeted with a smile. Picked up my order and took it home. I ordered the chicken fried strand biscuits. It was huge and delicious. They literally had to put my eggs and potatoes on another box, which btw I didn't eat because the chicken fried steak was more than enough. It was well seasoned, crunchy and soft at the same time. I got my fiancée the meat livers skillet, which I didn't try but he said it was delicious and was literally asking to go back for dinner so I'm assume he loved it. Will definitely go back and try their lunch menu items.

Have gone a couple of times for lunch and every time, the service is quick, efficient, and the food is good. I always get the same thing- hash browns with over medium eggs and it's a solid dish. Their coffee is strong and they are generous with their refills. Love that there's a local diner in the area and will definitely keep going back!

Went for lunch on last Thursday and ordered the grill sandwich. Pretty much a turkey club with avocado. Outstanding!!!! Bacon was cooked perfectly for a sandwich. Most places overcook the bacon. Not here. When you bite into the sandwich the bacon breaks apart easily. Avocado is a great addition that you wouldn't think makes a difference but definitely does. Next morning came in for the avocado toast. Another winner. Avocado was fresh and the bread was actually roasted! 2 whole pieces of multi-grain smothered with avocado. Scrambled eggs on top and the hash browns covered half the plate and was great also. Fresh brewed ice tea was my drink and you can tell it was fresh. Only thing missing was cheese and onions on the hash. Don't worry, I'll get it next week. Service was awesome. Waitress came over right before my tea was empty for the refill.
